MAISEUM is a fragrance and objects house structured as a living museum. Fragrance is the medium; the worlds around it — rooms, words, images, objects — are where you come to live with what we make.
We are small by design, and we think expansively and inclusively. Every exhibition is an invitation: to step in, to return, to build something in common.
A museum is not loyal to one subject — it is loyal to a way of looking. We choose something we're drawn to, arrive with questions, and stay long enough to build a world around it with real depth and nuance. Exhibition I explores postmodernism. The next could be minimalism, or a discipline we haven't named yet — even a house of fashion. The subject changes. The curiosity doesn't.
We channel what we find into fragrance and objects, and into everything around them — so the result is something you can inhabit, not just own. Worlds to step into, return to, and build a life and a community inside. A work is finished only when someone lives in it. You are not the audience. You are part of the canon.
Before an exhibition opens, we hold a private view: works we've borrowed, hung in rooms, credited to the people who lent them. Some you can take home. The canon, you cannot. The doors of Exhibition I have not yet opened.
